I’ve been doing the ketogenic diet for almost 6 months. The last two months very strict. I’ve been monitoring my glucose in order to know that I’m in Keto and one time I made it into the 70’s but when I wake up it could be 107 to 124. Dinner is usually either fish, meat or chicken no more than 4 oz cooked in coconut oil or grilled and either salad with oil and vinegar or steamed vegetables with either butter or oil added on.

First reported in 2003, the idea of using a form of the Atkins diet to treat epilepsy came about after parents and patients discovered that the induction phase of the Atkins diet controlled seizures.
